Overweight. Overtired. Inactive. Stressed out. And ultimately, unhappy. These were my 20s. Not exactly the “best years of my life”…I was struggling to live the life I had always envisioned. I knew what I needed to do — eat healthier, exercise more, and find work/life balance — but for years, I was stuck in the mud and couldn’t seem to build the momentum to move forward. Each day was a carbon copy of the one before. Finally, I made a massive effort to just take small steps toward some sort of progress. First, I gave up drinking soda. This alone was a huge win! Then, I gave up eating fast-food. Then, I started hiking in the mountains. And, little by little I started building the foundation to live a healthier life. Oh, how far I've come now! My goal in founding Ignite Your Healthy Life is to contribute something beyond myself. To establish a community that teaches and empowers others to live healthier and more abundant lives.
